I Nengkanno' Guåhan: The Food of Guam

Best in the World – Culinary Heritage Cookbook, Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2017

Finalist – Self-Published Cookbook

I Nengkanno' Guåhan is a collection of family recipes and traditional dishes from the island of Guam, an unincorporated U.S. territory in the Pacific known for its stunning beaches and rich indigenous culture. My grandmother is Chamorro—a descendant of Guam's indigenous peoples—and I have been fascinated by the island's culture ever since I can remember. This passion project stemmed from the desire to learn more about my heritage and explore a unique part of myself through food.
